10. What are the requirements for online learning?

Computer Requirements

To participate in online learning with eLearnVA, you will need to meet the following computer requirements:

• a PC or Macintosh with a 100 MHz Pentium processor or equivalent,
• a high-speed Internet connection (broadband),
• an active email account, and
• a minimum of 32 MB of RAM

Participation Requirements

If you apply for and are accepted into eLearnVA, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Complete a minimum of 3 hours of online study to remain enrolled in eLearnVA
• Work independently to meet your educational goals
• Maintain regular contact with your mentor
