A little About me.

My name is Johnna. I am twenty-seven years old. I am a single mother of two. I am legally blind. I can see print just not small. This occurred from a car accident when i was sixteen years old. I had done some home-schooling after my car accident for six months, until i moved to Germany with my mother and my stepfather. I didn't learn very in school there because they treated me like i was not capable of handling a whole day of school, nor did they want to make me stare at the books for too long. I suppose they thought it would strain my eyes more? As i returned to the United States in 2000, i did not return to school because of my experience i had just went through the year prior. I may be legally blind but i wish to not be treated and different than any other student during the learning process. I am a very strong individual. Not physically but mentally and emotionally. So here i am now ten years later getting over my insecurities and pushing myself to better myself. I am willing to go the limits necessary to complete this process and carry on with the career on y choice. I would love to get into possibly Speech therapy, or something that i can help others with, physical therapy with small children maybe even a middle or high school counselor. I have been through a lot in my short life I'd love to share my experiences and maybe help others through theirs.
I love meeting new people there are so many things to still learn with in others. So one that note... It is nice to meet you and I hope to get to know many people in my future.
