I passed my GED !

Hello to everyone out there reading this! I wanted to tell everyone that I passed my GED, and what a huge accomplishment this is for me. I have been out of school for 20 years, always got D's and F's in math all through school never could grasp the concept of math. I have always wanted to take my GED but I was scared of failure, but recently I lost my job of 11 years, and had a chance to go to a college to take up a career, and guess what?..I needed my GED to actually be able to accept an Associates degree, so...I went to our local high school and met up with the GED teacher there, and she gave me some books to study from, then I took the practice GED test and I passed that with flying colors ! I went onto elearnva and took some tests, then I went to myskillstutor.com and studied alot there and you have tutors that are there for you when you need them. I set up and appointment to take the actual test, and on my second day of the test, I walked away feeling disappointed because I thought I did poorly on it, but when I got home, my scores were already posted and I PASSED ! I felt like crying when I looked at the computer screen, because this is something I had been wanting for a long time, and I am soooo glad I finally did it. I feel like I am somebody now, with having my GED, it really does give you a feeling of selfworth ! I am now enrolled at PVCC in the Associate of Applied Science degree program, with a mjor in Police Science, I want to be Crime Scene Investigator, or a Homicide Detective.
So to anyone out there who has doubts about taking the GED, just do it, it is sooooo worth it, and you will feel differently about yourself.
