Summer time studying
I hope all the students had a wonderful July 4th weekend ! Wanted to remind everyone to be sure to put in your three hours per week into your Skills Tutor and other program that your mentors have given you.
Remember not to let your studies take a back seat in your pursuit of becoming a GED graduate. If you study just 30 minutes each day you will meet the 3 hour minimum requirement to stay in eLearn.
Summer studying
Now is a great time to use all of the resources your eLearnVA mentors are giving you. With most of you all out of school for the summer, it's a perfect opportunity to improve your GED preparation. Then you will be prepared to test in the fall when school starts back.
Remember to post all your experiences here on the blog.
Happy studying !

Interested in going to college once you get your GED?
If your post-GED plans include going to college, then now is the time to start planning. What careers are you interested in? How long will it take to get a certification or degree? How will you pay for college?
You can help answer all of these questions by going to the VA Education Wizard at http://www.vawizard.org/
You can do a career interest inventory, research jobs in your area, find out about financial aid and lots of other information about applying for and attending college. It is never too early to start thinking about your college plans.
Welcome
Hello eLearn students. Here is a video to check out that talks about GED orientation. There are many video's located on the eLearn website that are very helpful while pursuing your GED.

For the most part I've finished the studying that i need for the GED test itself. Though i feel more comfortable taking the math portion of the test, a little more studying couldn't hurt.
I think in the long run that I'm going to pass but what I'm now worried about is the score that I'm going to pass with. I've gotten better scores on test's before so I'm going to keep studying, though i get high scores on the quizzes that i take.

Right so i just started my classes, and i feel that maybe i should document these things as i go along. For the first time in a very long time it feels as if I'm taking a very big step forward in light of that I'm going to try and consider the other things i should move forward with outside of my educational boundary's.

How do i further my education...
i wanna go to VCU or sometime of university
